So many people say, “Wait for the right time.” The problem is that some people wait until death
for the right opportunities, wasting their lives away, the perfect opportunity never having arrived.
To them, life is like a traffic light stuck on red that never turns green. I believe that life actually
works the other way around. God’s will is a green light. You often see God’s will while you are on
the move. There is of course time to stand still in our spiritual life. But faith is not one long line
of silence in a heavenly waiting room; it regularly involves movement and activity. Faith
happens in your real, ‘actual’ life. Faith is the action of daily grabbing ahold of the moments
God sets before you each day. It involves the creation of right opportunities, like David who
accepted Goliath’s challenge to the Israelites as a chance to glorify God. While the soldiers
wondered that day how they could ever defeat such a huge giant, David wondered how he could
miss such a huge target! Do the same. Create opportunities daily to glorify God. Live
courageously unto His glory.
